Beach Tags

Today I am sharing a fun sample of a monthly home decor class I teach at Kept Creations called Tags For All Seasons.
The tag set can be changed out for different holidays, seasons or celebrations. This project makes decorating for all holidays a breeze.
My inspiration for this tag set is this fun paper from Canvas Corp https://shop.canvascorpbrands.com/collections/paper-1/products/beach-sampler-ivory
I also used Canvas Corp Blue&Ivory Dot Reverse, Blue&Ivory Chervon, Burlap Sheet.
Other products: assorted beach stamps and diecuts and Summer was cut on the Cricut machine.
You can order kits of up coming tag classes by email - java4boys295@yahoo.com or by leaving me a comment .
Here are a few other samples that I created for this tag class---
Hope you enjoyed this project !!

Canvas Corp

I'm so excited to be part of the Canvas Corp Crew! I love painting and stenciling on all their fantastic products. They carry such a great assortment of products from home decor items, canvas bags, paper, paints, sprays, and much much more. Make sure you check out their site at http://canvascorpbrands.com !

For my first project I had to make a 4x4 canvas that reflected my style.  I always try to inspire my students to add their personal touch to their projects that they make in my classes. I love when everyone starts out with the same pieces but they  can look so different in the end.

I'll Be Home For Christmas

I love to create these beautiful home decor canvases. They make such a great personal gift that will be treasured for years.
I used my favorite @Perfect Paints and beautiful fabric and papers from @Canvas Corp to create this unique piece. Here's how I did it!

First, I painted the inside of the canvas using Perfect Paints Shimmering Matte Acrylic Bright Gold and Red Wagon. When dry, I mixed a little Bright Gold into Pearl Plaster and stenciled. If your stencil doesn't fit the piece, let dry and continue in sections. I just love the effect - it really looks like flocked paper.

Next cut out imagines from Canvas Corp Farmhouse Christmas fabric and papers. I love the the fact that this line is black and white so I was able to customize my embellishments . I used Perfect Paints Shimmering Matte Acrylics Bright Gold, Red Wagon, Moss Green, Vintage Mercury, Shadow, Aged Copper and Halo.

Lastly, place your embellishments and picture in desired locations and glue.

Super easy and Fun !!!!

The variety of colors just inspire me to create !! I can't seem to use enough of the bright gold. It is beautiful on everything! I need gallons of it! I hope to inspire you with creative projects that you be able to recreate yet add your own spin to your masterpieces.
Perfect Paint is a new local company created by the amazingly talented artist Cherly Mezzetti.
Pleas check out her website for so many wonderful projects- you will be truly inspired.
Best yet you can order directly from her website.

Here is a fun fall project to get you started -

First I used Tim Holtz tattered leaves die to cut out a bunch of leaves. I than painted them using Perfect Paints shimmering matte acrylics Cantaloupe, Cajan Pumpkin, Aged Cooper, Red Wagon and Bright Gold - love these names - .
I wrapped a straw wreath with burlap and glued my leaves in place - add a bow and hang up.
I hung mine in my dining room, I just love how it shimmers !!!!

Be sure to visit both company's blogs daily for ideas, tips and techniques from our design teams.

I love these whimsical stamps by Lawn Fawn. These cute little critters inspired me to create a 3-D scene, so I decided a Faux Shadow Box would be just perfect. So fun !!!
