I love these whimsical stamps by Lawn Fawn. These cute little critters inspired me to create a 3-D scene, so I decided a Faux Shadow Box would be just perfect. So fun !!!

Once I choose the background papers for the book it was so much fun to decorate with stamps and die cuts .

Hazel & Ruby

Badge_Hazel&Ruby This week IMAGINE Crafts is proud to feature the products from Hazel & Ruby. Our Artists In Residence are here all week to inspire you with their amazing projects using IMAGINE Crafts' products along with a selection of stencils, paper and embellishments from Hazel & Ruby.

Wow, Hazel @ Ruby have some really great products. I loved working with the Boutique Alpha Mask Stencil and when combined with  all the beautiful colors from Imagine Craft Inks your  projects will be masterpieces. So today I created a cute little canvas of my grand daughter, hope you enjoy my project.

1. First adhere tissue paper to canvas using Creative Medium.
2. Next pick your saying and stick the letter mask to your canvas.

3. Using sponge daubers ink till your happy with the results.
4. Peel your letters off, I outlined mine and colored them in with a sponge dauber.
5. Make tissue flowers, just punch out about six scallops per flower. Stack the layers and put a brad in the center and fluff up.

6. I cut a mat for my photo and decorated it with sequins. Add a fun little bling !
7. Punch out some hearts from the tissue paper, I added IrRESTible to the dots for a little dimension.
8. Attach your pieces to the canvas and you have a beautiful piece of art.
9. Sprinkle a few sequins for interest .

Supplies:

Imagine Crafts
Versa Magic- Keylime, Pixie Pink, Pink Grapefruit ,Sea Breeze, Mango Madness
Memento- Bahamas Blue, Rosebud
IrRESTible - Wedding Dress
CreativeMedium , Sponge Daubers

Hazel & Ruby
Boutique Alpha Numbers Stencil Mask
Green with Envy - the Markery Sequins
Pass the Tissue - crafting tissue paper

Other supplies
8x10 canvas, punches, brads

The quality of this tissue paper is fantastic, I had plenty left over - so I decided to decorate a pumpkin. I inked the tissue paper with Memento Pumpkin. Tear into strips and covered one of those ugly plastic pumpkins you find at the dollar store.

Hope you enjoyed - as always thank you for your support and comments .

Imagine Crafts, Authentique and May Arts Blog Hop

,AP_MayArts_Badge Welcome to a crafting extravaganza all week featuring myself and other Artists In Residence from IMAGINE Crafts, along with the Design Team Members of Authentique Paper and May Arts Ribbon.

I'm so happy to be blog hopping with one of my favorite paper companies Authentique, and too pair it up with the beautiful ribbons from May Arts. Of course the cherry on top was using the awesome shimmer sprays and inks from Imagine Crafts. So I couldn't stop at just one project, so today I made a cute little book and two cards.

Let's get started-
1. First I choice my paper and ink colors to match. I than die cut the paper and put chipboard between the pages, adhere it with Creative Medium. I love using Creative Medium because it holds so well and it never leaves a residue. I than inked the edges of the pages and sprayed with Fireworks and Goosebumps.
2. I picked what paper would be the cover, layed out my design. Added some flowers, which I inked and sprayed to match.

3. Needed a few more touches!

4. For the inside of the book, I sprayed the pages and inked the edges. Picked out the photos, added some fun stickers and diecuts from the matching embellishment sets. Made some bows and had fun decorating the pages.
